Pentax K-30. ISO 400...12800.

Carl Zeiss 50mm/2
JPEG 16MP.
ISO 400 Manual exposure.
From ISO 640 to ISO 12800 Sensitivity Priority. Automatic exposure.
Long Island, NY. Aug 04, 2012. 19:27:37PM...19:37:36PM. Light wind.
My grandson sleeping in a carriage. I take pictures of flower without tripod....































Resize to 1050 x 695, inscription ISO and copyright.

Nice test. Were you using noise reduction? It would be nice to see thesae at full size. Thanks for showing these.

I did not do any photo editing
tell me where to put the full size of the pictures?

Great work with your steady hand. Nice to see the new camera working so well through the higer ISO's. It is very impressive! Plus you have a very nice Carl Z lense!

Thanks for sharing, says alot for the K-30.

Try it again in low-light .

When the light is bright and strong, even at high ISO the camera sensor is hardly doing any work, especially in K-5/K-30 grade sensors.

Dim the lights and shoot. Then you really force the sensor and camera image processor to work harder, and any potential weaknesses may become more apparent.

"Auto" noise reduction is set as a default setting on the K-30, so I expect there is some automatic adjustments going on, which I think it great and I am really impressed with my K-30 so far! I too would like to see a comparison between "normal" (whatever that is!0 and low lighting in a series of shots.

I do not know whether you need this test, but decided to put the last pictures taken with tripod.
