Just got through reading it. The IQ performance on the samples is beating the comparison cameras easily IMHO. The dynamic range is "conservative" but can be boosted by changing away from the default settings.

It looks to be as good as the Canon 5D MkIII or as close as doesn't matter. The 5DIII has only been out a few months longer and still costs £2500.

Dpreview!!! Your dynamic range test is FULL nonsense. Don't you know it? And still keep fooling users around...Ask GORDON B.GOOD - WHAT DR IS and REALIZE it.

Hi ogl! Would you be able to give us a link to a discussion or article from Gordon about DR? I do not know about the technicalities so I would love to read up correct information. Thanks!

If you select the K5 and the K-30 on the graph you can see how more low (to the dark) can go the k5 due the 14bit converters
