Anvh - even when EXIF is the same between two versions if the Camera ID # is different, the software won't recognize it.

Yes it would.

exif is simply a text file with information.

Even though it doesn't know the Camera ID # it should know the Lens ID # since the lens ID is always the same, the camera doesnt change that.,

Still no luck. Software in computer program is up-to-date. As I said earlier, program recognizes the lens on with pics taken with the Kr, but not the K30.
I dunno. Seems odd. I can live with it. It has all the other info there and that's the important thing!
