Basically, with mirror down, metering uses dedicated sensor in optical path. In LV, that sensor, as well as autofocus sensor cannot be used, so what's used is data from image sensor and software interpretation of them. So light metering is totally different between the two and while the results should be close, small discrepancies are to be expected.
Also, I mentioned that LV stops down automatic lenses to about f/4. This means that it actually performs sort of stop down metering, which, again, may introduce discrepancies.
