at first I do not see any difference in performance, I essentially no opportunity of comparing two images simultaneously on the LCD as the K-r (I think in the second upgrade to the K-r appeared this option), I had problems with Trasnscend SDHC Class 10 on the original firmware on K-30, it seems that the corrected-no more blocks, these are first impressions

I've tested carefully and, to me, there is no perceptible improvement. Perhaps it's because I use many 3rd party lenses.

Smooth update here also. Too early to notice any improvements.

Just updated. Focus does seem to be a bit snappier, perhaps a bit of improvement in efficiency with kit DAL 18-55.

Everybody's talking about possible performance improvements, but I would hope that this firmware focuses on bugs and stability improvements. I've never had any complaints about my K30's performance, but it has been a little quirky at times.

focusing in a pretty dark room with the 18-55 lense in live view is pretty snappy after the upgrade, no other side effects noticed.

Noticeable improvement for me when focusing in a dim room using CDAF on a DA 16-45. That lens usually hunts quite a bit for me when using CDAF.

Same here - no problems but no perceptible improvement. Never felt it was slow to begin with though.

Did the update this morning, improvement in focus speed, maybe, I certainly don't have the ability to test that. I did not have any other quirks that I know of.

Mine is fine, no need for any update yet. What I need to update is my skill

Smooth update. AF seems a little bit more smoother. No other real differences yet. They are serious about the battery being fully charged though

Update went smooth... AF seems more consistent rather than faster.
