Where ? The best I've seen so far is 447 from SLRHut ( be careful of their kit offer, the 18-55 is the old non WR lens so it looks like a great deal ) - most places are still advertising at 499.

I've just seen the SRS prices, they've got the twin lens kit for 579, plus the 50 cashback! That's a bloody good deal ! I think they've dropped thei price today because I've been looking for a few days now. But their K5 prices haven't dropped, which is strange as the new models should mean they want to clear the old stock?
I think that price has made the decision for me.

It looks like Pentax have started the pre Christmas sales. Most dealers have the same prices, I've just checked WEX and Clifton Cameras and they are the same but they have a bag and strap as part of the offer. Clifton Cameras are also offering interest free credit. Which was nice when our personal bank accounts actually paid us some interest, but it's still worth having in many cases. Clifton advertised in Amateur Photographer this week with a full page ad at the old prices and I damn nearly sent my money off!

SRS and most of the others are also offering really cheap deals with the old non WR lenses, and it's easy to just get carried away with the cheap deal and forget that it's the WR lens that you might really want.

I think 'London Camera Exchange' have the best of the good deals, but there does seem to be a difference in the "free gifts" between suppliers which might make a difference on an individuals choice.

I just received my K30 body plus extra battery (Hama, an OK make) from SRS - ordered on Friday, although advised "out of stock- due in Tuesday or Wednesday" actuall received it yesterday (Tuesday) All for 369 plus 7.99 postage, and now can claim my 50.
Crazy price for such a camera
My K5 can now go for repair ( dodgy motor on mirro, sometimes sticks open, sometimes will not fire at all and gives battery depleted error, Happens about once/1000 shots at the moment)

After a little hiccup on Saturday when I went to collect my online ordered K-30 from Jessops (369) and they didn't have any in stock despite the website saying they did, I now have my K-30! The guys in the shop were great and got a K-30 in as quick as they could and rang me, it just seems to be their web page that is pants.

I've just printed a cashback form, will look into it at the weekend. http:// www.pentax.co.uk/k30cashback

I managed to book us into an hotel 100 metres from Park Cameras in Sussex. Complete accident. Didn't know they were there till we drove past. Looked at their site that night and the cash back deal had just been announced. And it was my birthday.

I liked my K110D but the K-30 is quite a step forward.
