K30 with DA* Zoom Lenses

Hi guys,

I know that the K30 is lighter than the K5x series. Does anyone use the DA* zooms? How do they balance on such a light body?

The K-30 is only about 15% lighter than the K-5, so it feels just fine. The only downside is that there is no grip option, meaning you can't make the body any heavier or bigger if you like having more to hold on to...

Thanks Adam,

I use a KX and a K200d (with a grip) now and I really like how the K200D feels. I'm leaning toward the K5II because I do a lot of low and mixed light photography. I think either would be good though.

Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

I have Kx, K30 and I had K7 + grip.

The balance of K5/K7(even without grip) is absolutely better than K30 with paired with a DA*lens (*16-50 and 60*-250). Especially holding with one hand.
BUT, I have no problem with K30 and DA*16-50
