K-30 Off for Warranty Repair of OK Button

The "OK" button on my K30 failed while I was in Israel August-December, and failed late enough that I did not have time to get the whole international warranty thing done and still get it repaired. So I'm back, and today sent it off to C.R.I.S. for warranty service. We'll see how long this takes…

If I may ask, how many shutter actuations did it have when the button failed, and what was the outcome of the C.R.I.S trip?

The shutter count was about 2000, fairly new. You can read my account of the warranty service experience here:

Make a long story short, C.R.I.S. was amazing. From dropping the camera in the mail to getting it back safe and sound, 20 days.
