So is the K-01 any less able than the K30, weather sealing and "Brickesque" aside ? And now the dumb question....Is there a lens that covers macro upto say 135mm in one ? As I said, a zoom is not really important to me, but if there were to be a lens that did macro and a long/longish zoom, that would be helpful I'm guessing.

Have a look on this forum in both DSLR K-30 section and Mirrorless K-01 section

Here is a rough comparison

The word 'macro' gets bandied about when it isn't necessarily so
True macros magnify to 1:1. There are no true macro zooms as far as I know.
The Pentax DA 100mm f2.8 is a goody. Tamron and Sigma make them too.
