Short Film shot on k-30

I just got my k-30 and thought I'd give the video capabilities a whirl. I know this camera isn't built for video (in fact it seems to be an afterthought) but I was itching to try it anyway. I'd be curious for your feedback. I'm not fishing for compliments here... I'm looking for (technical/cinematography) critiques. It's only one minute long. Thanks!

(how do you embed the actual clip in the post?)

I hear a rustling/clicking sound in the left speaker. I am not sure why that is there, but it is a bit distracting. The editing is nice and tight like it should be in a short clip. Great selection on the music, and it syncs perfectly. There is a bit of a lighting issue when the actor enters the room. Good job on this, I enjoyed it.

I thought it was good because I did not really notice faults. Usually transitions are where people fail. They were excellent as I did not notice them, I thought your camera work was pretty good too.

The cool thing about short clips, is that they can be anything. The viewer can watch just about anything for 30 seconds to a minute. It's always good to work the kinks out with new gear, and you're doing exactly that. I say fine little video.

Thanks everyone.

Kenntak, this is interesting. The clicking noise you heard was meant to be the sound of the game controller, but apparently it didn't work for you. I'll have to re-visit that. Also, I noticed the lighting issue in the first shot too. It happened because he was started out between the camera and the lens, and then moved out, and then back in. I need to learn how to shoot video in manual mode so that doesn't happen again.

Learning process! Appreciate the feedback.

It's not there for me either. I think it used to be.

So, I know it's been almost a year, but I just happened upon this old thread of mine and saw the posts above about no link. Every time I try and paste in the link, it just tries to embed the video. Put all of this on one line, and it will work....

The video is cute. But you know, a year later and I am still trying to figure out how to load film in my K-30, short or long....

A year later and I'm trying to figure out why there are so few "shorts" or music videos that have been shot using the K-30. Doing a YT search brings up this and a bunch of "camera tests".
