HI, Need a recommendation for a decent flash and shutter release for the K-30

Is this the one you are looking for ? I got 2 and they work fine on both of my K-20D and K-30

Thank you for the replies. I am actually looking for the whole unit that sits on the hot shoe and has the wireless release. I can't find one that specifically mentions the k30 model. Hope this helps

I have heard Cactus V5 duo can do thing like that. I do have the V5 duo but the included cable which connects the V5 on the hot shoe to camera was not for Pentax so I can not confirm that feature.

Looks like we're looking for the same thing (without much luck!)
Here's a reply to Ken T this morning:
Thanks Ken. I'm finding that finding a compatable shutter release for the k-30 quite frustrating. I found this on Adorama:
Vivitar Wireless Remote Shutter Release VIV-RC-200-ALL SKU: VVVRC200 MFR: VIV-RC-200-ALL
it lists the k-7 but not the k-30. Think it would work?
Also on b&h:
Vello FreeWave Wireless Remote Shutter Release RW-C1 B&H Photo
it does list the k-30, but is about 10 bucks more.
They 'look' like the same thing but who knows...

If I hear anything, I'll let you know.
