Base Image for Multiple Exposures?

I have had my Pentax K-30 for a fe months now and I am getting into multiple exposures. I was wondering if you had the option to choose a base image for the multiple exposures, instead oh having to retake your base image each time if your final composite image does not turn out how you wanted it. I know this is available on more higher end cameras, and I was wondering if this was available on the Pentax K-30. I have not been able to find it, but I was wondering if anyone else has.

Do you mean the automatic HDR function on the camera?

No, the Multiple Exposure option under the shooting settings, second page. I was wondering if you could choose a base image already taken on your memory card and use it instead of taking one over and over

Oh yes, just shoot in RAW.
You can then edit it fully on your computer but the camera itself can also process it quite a bit.

Looks to me like you can only set it up by taking multiple exposures. There doesn't seem to be an option to choose a previously saved exposure...
