Dual dial controls with manual lenses

When using manual lenses, I find that one of my control dials becomes useless. I can control ISO or TV or Exposure compensation, but never two of these three.

Is this normal?

Is this normal for other cameras (ie, K5II)?

I believe you can customize the e-dials in the menu, though in M mode there isn't that much you can do apart from controlling the ISO and shutter speed.

You have another control - be it some what indirect, and that is exposure compensation, in addition to ISO and shutter speed. It's just as easy most of the time as reaching around and turning the aperture ring, but a lot of the time - I want f8 for a specific depth of field, so this is a handy tool.

I'm not that concerned about dials loosing functionality with manual lenses, in M, B, etc. - I'm more concerned with keeping basic functionality assigned to the same controls all the time - but that's just me being old and decrepit.
