Pentax K-50 Review - Digital cameras - CNET Reviews

What do you think of this review? She did not review the K-30 but she did review the K-01 and gave it rave reviews for image quality. Maybe Pentax stumbled on the JPEG processing on this model? The sample images look good to me.

I think it's just the reviewer. They do have a point in that the K-50 is basically a K-30 in a different casing, though.

My guess is that she's approaching the camera from the point of view of someone who is not interested in working with the settings in order to get the best photos out of it and who just wants to shoot JPEG only and not process RAW.

Lori Grunin has a strong bias against anything not Canon and Nikon. I really dislike her reviews.

This whole thread almost perfectly echoes the CNET review of the K30 and the K5.
