K30 getting stuck in preview

My K-30 is also in for repair at the moment due to similar issues I described above, they said about 2 weeks for a normal repair turn around.

I'm using my little RX100 full time at the moment, the K-30 will feel massive when I eventually get it back

Did you guys ever get a return/resolution on this?

Mine is now doing the same thing...

Yes as per my last post they replaced the main board , this fault has been reported in several threads now and is or was quite common, perhaps it was a batch of faulty boards as the complaints seem to have dried up now
