Yep, I also want a second K-30 as a back up camera.
Even thou I really like the K-01 (my dad got one) and my wife got the Q-10. 2 me it makes much more sense to have the exact same camera as your back up. No worries about diff batteries, layout, settings etc. And I look forward to be able to go on a photo walk with two cameras... less switching back and forth between lenses. ( I know, I am lazy sometimes, or don't have time to change lens)

My 2 cents
Once you go to a two camera shooting solution, you will never look back.
One camera in the holster, the other in the backpack.
When needed a prime on one, a zoom on the other.
Or two zooms. Or two primes. Or video and stills.

I actually shoot with three cameras now (sometimes four).

I picked up a Sony NEX-6 with PK/NEX adapter. I'm glad I did so for two reasons: 1) It kept me occupied while my K30 was in the shop getting the viewfinder fixed for a few weeks, and 2) it allows me to use older M lenses like they ought to be used on a Pentax body... with full metering support, auto-ISO. Plus, the EVF with focus peaking and live histogram is really (really) nice.

K-200d as a back-up for me. What a great little camera this is, with a jpeg engine that does some seriously good work. You can feel its age compared to the K-30 youngster, but really a nice, cheap second body.

I still have my K10, mainly because selling it wouldn't get me much money. But it's also nice to have a bag with 3 extra lenses that will fit either of the cameras I'm carrying.

With the K-30 being discontinued in favour of the K-50 there are some good deals to be had on K-30s if you act quickly. A second k-30 body offers commonality of batteries, chargers, accessories etc and identical feel/programming/button placement to your present k-30.

As I parrot over and over, don't get a "back-up", shoot with dual cameras!
So another K-30 is my recommendation!
ditto
