How to turn electronic level to manual metering?

Is there a way to change the electronic level to manual metering on the K-30? If I understand correctly, manual metering will tell if your current aperture and shutter settings will over or underexpose the photo if you're not in AUTO mode.

You would have to disable the viewfinder level display completely. Beside the electronic level there's a number that tells you by how much your exposure is off. Make it reach 0 and you'll be good to go.

How do I turn this number on? In the various modes the number never appears and the electronic level only turn seems to into an exposure meter when in M mode.

It appears instead of the ISO reading as soon as you turn the mode dial to manual and disappears in any other mode.

The only way it will not appear in M mode is if you set ISO to AUTO, in which case you aren't actually shooting in manual mode.

If you are not in M mode then of course the number can never be shown because it would have no meaning.
