Whats next? (purchase)

i got my k30 a few weeks ago and have been playing with it pretty much non stop.
I have developed a fascination with old lens's. My SMC-M 50mm1.7 satys on the camera pretty much non stop. Also pcked up a super Tak 50mm1.2 for a steal (assuming i can clean it) $15

Now i'm looking for my next thing. I've narrowed it down to a few things.

1. katzeye focusing screen.
It will really help with MF, but i'm a little concerned about it messing with AF or light metering, i want to be able to slap the kit lens on and hand it to my wife in green mode and just work.

2. DA 50mm 1.7 Pentax 35mm DA L F2.4 AL Lens 21987 B&H Photo Video
Not sure about this one, i think the MF one is just fine

3. DAL 53mm 2.4 Pentax 35mm DA L F2.4 AL Lens 21987 B&H Photo Video
same as #2

4. Flash. AF-360 FGZ maybe?
all i have is the built in one and an old canon that works in full manual but i can't bounce it.

5. Ideas???? other things?? Figure a budget about 200 or so give or take, i could go more (not limited or DA* territory unfortunately)

i currently have the DA WR 18-55, 2 50mm manual primes, a 70-150 manual vivitar (push/pull) and a something-200 from my old zx30

just because its a photo forum, heres one i took last night

I just got a SMC F 80-200 for $20 on *bay that is amazing on my K30 and my Q not the greatest looking lens but IQ is great. I have the 35 mm f2.4 and really like it, for the cost it's a great buy. If your something -200 is a Pentax - F 80-200 give it a 2nd look mine is sharper than some of my old manual prime tele's.

mine is the plastic 80-200 silver in color. feels really cheap, but i remember it going a pretty good job with my 35mm slr. i'll have to mount it and play with it a bit.

If it's a silver SMC FA 80-200 it's not rated as well as the grey SMC F 80-200. but if that's a range you are looking for I would recommend searching for the F 80-200 on Ebay like I said I got mine for $20 US and it is tack sharp.

yeah, mine is the silver one. plastic mount. ritz camera i think i got it from (years ago) Honestly, i don't think ive really used it yet, i generally go for the vivitar 75-150 manual focus. mostly because it has a 3.8 constant aperture. So in theory, even if i put a 1.4x TC on it, i still get more light then the SMC FA.

so far though, i have done very little with zooms. i usually pack the vivitar if i go anywhere though.

Doesn't the K-30 only use a wireless (IR) remote?

can use either i believe, i know it has an IR reciever on the front, and under one of the flaps there is 1/8 minijack for the cable release.

If you have an iOS or Android phone or tablet, consider the Triggertrap Mobile.

To be honest, I no longer need to carry my regular wired release. I always have my phone with me, Triggertrap is VERY versatile as it uses many of the sensors built into my phone, and the dongle to connect my phone to my camera is smaller (takes less space in my bag) than most wired releases.

i did see that, and i like the idea. I have to leave something though for my Christmas List :-)

I'm trying to pick up some of the "basics" if you will and see how deep this rabbit hole goes.
