Disassembling / reassembling a K30 - any experience ?

Hi <

I just love the colours ( both body and soul) of my K30 so much, that I got both the orange and yellow ones with the intention to mix and match the colour to make two unique colourful cameras.

Anyone out there has the experience or advice on disassembling the K30 before I turns my screw drivers ?

Thanks

Yuhau

Thereīs a big chance you will screw something... even if you are really carefull, these devices are very complex and the integration is so high, itīs unlikely to do it manually with no especial tools

I can get where the OP is coming from. I initially ordered the Silky Green k-30 from a vender in Japan.
Waited and waited but sadly he wasn't able to get it. I DO SO LOVE the k-30 in that color i even considered taking min apart LOL However i feel that would really ruin it .

Love this green color!

For OP:

I think an easier and safer approach is to paint it rather than disassembling/assembling?

Might as well save you plenty of time!

Thanks ! Its a thought ! . Wonder what paint will go on it ? It would be great if I can have different colour panels on the camera. Wonder whether it is safer to pay a camera repairman to do it ?

BTW love that green colour.
