How to stop Interval Movie Mode?

Hi,

I have started playing with the Interval Movie Mode to do some time lapse videos but sometimes I'd like to stop capture before the scheduled interval while keeping the video. Does anybody how to do this? I can't figure it out.

The only thing I found was to shut the camera off. Works but a little severe I know :-P

That's a little harsh . Does it keep the video intact?

I have found that you can press the menu button and there is an option to stop recording. But if you shoot at a three seconds interval there is not enough time to go through the menu before another image gets taken. It works for longer intervals.

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was movie mode - blame it on dyslexia :-P I was talking basic interval shooting.
