Hello-
I have a K-x that I love, but want a camera that can autofocus during video recording. I am considering the K-50, and I realize there is no continuous autofocus on any Pentax SLR.
My question is, in practical terms, how well does the autofocus during recording work? My understanding is that if the subject moves, you can push a button and the camera will refocus on the subject.
Basically I want to know if it works well enough to warrant spending the money, or should I just keep my k-x and buy a video camera.
This site states
If you're just going to be using the AF to re-focus after zooming or panning, then the K-50 should be sufficient. The AF isn't really suitable for moving subjects, though.
