Multi-Exposure with the K-30 ?

I was using my K-30 to shoot a 3 shot multi-exposure through the menu selection but when it is taken, the 3 shots to form one pic seem to have more of a translucent effect without sold images. Is there a secret to this or is this what to expect ?

The rules are pretty much the same as doing it with film. Exposures will be cumulative, so if an area is overexposed on the first exposure, you won't get anything there on the second. To cut down on the translucent effect you'd want to have that area very underexposed on the other exposures.

Maybe because you have Auto EV Compensation selected? Try your sequence with and without this for comparison.
