Have you extracted the firmware? The .bin file is the one that is to be copied to ROOT.

I am assuming that is where the problem is.......I don't know how to do this. :/

Which OS are you using? Both Mac OS X and Window$ have built-in .zip extractors.

On Mac OS X double clicking the .zip file will extract the .bin file to the same folder. You can then drag the .bin file to the mounted card.

On Window$ double clicking the .zip file will open a new window. You can then use the Extract all files wizard. Click Browse, then find the mounted card in My Computer.

The card has to be formatted by the camera for it to work.
