After 2 months of using, my K-30 is giving signals of a more or less common problem that I found in the internet and in the forum, it seems the aperture's motor has to be replaced or fixed. I hope they bring her back like new and ready to rock for a long time, but we have to face that this is a disadvantage of having a mirror camera, more moving parts prone to get sick

Sad to hear that. What were the symptoms and how did you reach the current diagnosis?

It started by getting inconstant exposures, first I thought it was my fault or a miscalculation of the multisegment metering, but when I started getting some pictures completely dark and others well exposed using the same adjustments I realized something was wrong. I contacted the Pentax service (the rep was very helpful) and they asked me to send some images to them, the answer was to better send it to check it out.
