hopefully *crosses fingers* it will improve SD compatability. every once and a while it's not happy with my lexar cards, and freezes up. Time will tell to see if it improves. i'll be updating when i get home also i'm sure.

The FW upgrade hasn't made it to the US site.

I downloaded and updated with no problems.

Like Quniton I didn't notice any major improvements.

I've upgraded as well from 1.05. Just like Quinton and geru2000's comments everything is working fine without any noticeable performance gains or disadvantages.

@ r3n

The most important update is to correspond to HD-DA Pentax AF 1.4x rear converter AW, of course also fixes minor problems regarding the stability in general.

I hope it fixes the random system lock, it happened to me a couple of times with the K-30

@ Lokusart,

I have not detect any problem of random lock (I have also the K-30), and I have still (ver. 1.05),
Does can you tell on which occasions crashes?

I have had random freezes which could only be fixed by pulling the battery as well. Also lesser malfunctions where the AF wouldn't engage which could only be fixed by turning the camera off for a minute and restarting it. It was worse with earlier firmware and hasn't happened in a while though. K-30 has been much less stable than my old K-x, one of the very few disappointments.

in one ocassion my dials stopped working, but I was able to turn the camera off normally. It's really a bummer when it fails
