K-50 Exposure bracketing with wireless remote

Just started using exposure bracketing and its fine if its hand held but I can't use it in combination with my wireless remote. just wanted the remote option to avoid camera shake.
i know i can either use a wired remote, or to change the EV value myself through the dial but I just wish it worked just by pressing the button on the IR remote.
am i missing something here or is that the case? if so, then i really hope pentax can solve this in the next fw update if possible. hmmm... i wonder if the timer works in combination with bracketing..have to try that as an alternative

You can only use a wired remote with the K50. The K5 models & K3 you can do wireless bracketing. The older models I don't know since I am not familiar with them.

Will it work with the two second delay on the self-timer?

No, not with the K50.. My K5 lls Bracketing has one touch, Self timer or wireless remote.

Check out the JJC wired remotes on Ebay... Their items are inexpensive and have worked well for me for every digital camera I have owned.
