Try Tv mode next time and dial in a much higher shutter speed. That way you can freeze the wing action.

Messing around with the new K50 and sigma 70-300. Was getting late in the day so fast shutter speeds were out of the question but sort of helps in the 'manic' look!

First time photographer. Bought myself a K-50 back in September. Loving every learning aspect of it. Shot with a 50mm 1.8 while hiking with my dog in the Columbia Gorge a few weeks back

Between work and life I hadn't had much time for photography. Took a "mental health" day off from work and went out with my camera for the afternoon last week.

I think I had my kit lens on when I took this. Not to bad for a kit lens.

Great shot. Nice ambiance : ) I just got a K-50 so I'm happy to see its capabilities.

Thank you! I had a lot of fun out with the clouds since we don't get clouds in the desert that often.

And the kit lens that comes with the camera is actually very good. I almost think I get clearer shots with it than with the Tamron or Sigma lenses I have.

No, just a single crop and a little sharpening in ACDC. It's actually worse on some others, if you can believe it.
Oh, and jpeg 3quality. Silkypix makes my head hurt. I need to break down and get LR. I'll try to clean it up a little.
If you hurry, you can get DxO Optics Pro 8 for free.
