I've decided it's time to post a couple of photos. Got the camera on Christmas day, and, as I said in my "Hello Everyone" post, my main subjects are going to be planes and grandchildren. I'm still getting the hang of it, so my pleased:disappointed ratio with my photos is still badly weighted towards disappointed, but here's a couple of plane shots that have made me smile.

A cropped photo of a Mallard, and a couple of a local rugby game. I'm finding photographing people playing sports is quite interesting. The mallard photo wont load because I have already posted it in another thread.

These are great. Love the expressions on the first pic, and the freeze of the guy scoring the try is brilliant.

Nice dramatic clouds there in your sunset! Beautiful colors...

Mine are some indoor shots (hand held, no flash) from a concert last week. It was a very small indoor space, an old boat-building shop that was having a fund-raiser show. K-50 and its constant companion, the 18-135WR.

I'd say it handled the lighting pretty well, ISO's up to 6400...
