Who would put a sticker on the rear glass?? lol... and why haven't you taken it off already? I think some lens cleaner should take care of that.

A few years back my daughter wanted to learn some photography, so being the dutiful dad that I am I did some research on 2nd hand cameras that were good but cheapish and I bought her a second hand K-50 and the 50 mm 1.8, She wanted to learn how to do long exposures, we had great fun doing these, like all kids she soon lost interest and now uses her phone for all picture taking, the K-50 was the first time I had used a Pentax and I was hugely impressed with it and the files it produced, I was using Micro 4/3 at the time and I loved the gear I had so when the K-70 was released I really wanted to see what it could do so I sold all my Olympus stuff and bought a K-70 and a few lenses, haven't looked back since, absolutely love it.

Anyhoo, some pictures we took together, basically me telling her what settings to use etc, so they are a joint effort from myself and Kate.

This should have been framed better, but when i saw the web at the top of the window at full size it went a long way to convince me to move to Pentax.

hahaha! yeh....not too worried about as it needs through clean to get the fungus out....so in the mean time foolin around...actually read abut the sticker somewhere here on PF for some weird effects.....in some cases the shape of the sticker shows up inside the bokeh bubble

Those Rikenon 50 1.7 lenses are actually really good - I had one branded as Sears. On par with the Pentax-M 50 1.7 with an even more interesting rendering - but also a bit less flare control. But the flare is actually really good!
Now I want one again

it shoots quite well for the condition it is in for sure! I have sears 50/f1.7 mc which may very well be the same as the rikenon in great condition although its been a minute since I have used it....btw no sticker placed on its glass!

There was an older, larger Sears 50 1.7 that was made by Chinon. Then there's the rebranded Rikenon - which you know it's a Rikenon, because it looks exactly like the Rikenon and it's a great performer. Some here in the forums have said the older rebranded Chinon was even better but I haven't used one...

from what I can remember they are very similar....chances are!! doubtful it's the older chinon I don't have luck like that!

^ Pretty good! Did you use the Bright.dcp or Vibrant.dcp file or something else? The colors are very nice.
