K-30 plus Eye-Fi

Are the Eye-Fi/Wi-Fi cards usable for wireless transfer using our K-30?

Yes, as they are camera independent. You'll need a mobile app, or pc software in order to receive the files. I use a Toshiba Flashair card together with a Android app (on a tablet) and my K5II.

You can use regular eye-fi or eye-fi mobi.
I have the eye-fi mobi and use it with my K50 (almost the same as K30).

I have just received my Eye-Fi Pro X2 16GB today, I can confirm that it does work with K-30, took me a while to figure out how to set up Direct Transfer but eventually I got it working. I tried auto transfer and selective transfer, both works.

It works on my K-5IIs too, if anyone's interested.

the mobi does not allow RAW transfer, while the Pro X2 does, correct?

i'm considering the same thing for all my camera's (more then likely 8gb for the Q and *ist and 16 for the K-30) But i want to make sure I can transfer RAW wirelessly to my computer.

Yes it does RAW transfer, you just have to set it up that way when you connect the card via the card reader to the computer, I haven't try wireless transfer to PC if I am honest, because that's not what I bought it for, I plan to use it with my iPhone or tablet when I am not home for quick upload.

the mobi or the pro? or both?
their site (eye-fi) claims the mobi won't do RAW transfer.
