Where to buy batteries?

Not a bad buy at all. The Costco near my house had the set I mentioned above marked down from $25 to $20 and they were going fast. It was probably a rare deal.
As soon as you deplete a set of 4 AA, put them on charge while you use the other set. As for the topic about the difference of the new Panasonic version vs the old Sanyo versions, my thoughts are that I've never had a problem with any Panasonic product, and that if they bought the well regarded eneloop "recipe" from Sanyo then they would be stupid to mess it up. My guess is the batteries remain unchanged.

Check out the Maha batteries - high capacity batteries - the guys at my Canon forum swear by them in their flashes.
