You're quoting me, but you don't seem to be responding to anything I stated. I said absolutely nothing about "computer 'experts' can't be camera enthusiasts/photographers", nor did I say "a person can only have one interest in life". What I did say is that computer publications generally do a poor job reviewing photo equipment.

Computer Shopper magazine (U.K.) does great one page camera reviews. Short they may be (about 1000 words), but there's a wealth of useful info and comments proving they've actually used the cameras seriously, in fact their comments are a sight more useful than DPR's for a prospective buyer. Pentax cameras generally get 5 star reviews, apart from the K500, they didn't like the lack of VF AF points.
