Nice. The old Sears lenses are pretty decent for the price and I like the colors they render. If you search "sears lens club" there's a whole thread with info and samples from this lens, as well as other Sears branded lenses. I have the Sears 300mm prime. What a gem for $25

I sure wouldn't hesitate to give any of the Auto sears MC lenses a good workout. I have a 55 that is tack sharp....and man did I pay ALOT for it !
Couldn't hardly afford the whopping $14.99 shipped !
That macro you got there looks quite good...........!

A forum member gave away some lenses and gear a year or so ago, and the last thing to go was a Sears 80-200mm. So I asked if I could have it, and for the price of shipping, I got a crazy sharp, beautiful classic lens. Here is the link to a macro shot I made with my 80-200 this past summer:

10 dollar lens

Stopped at a pawn shop and picked up this lens and 2x. Pentax smc a 70-200 Macro. I am going to take the lens out of the 2x and make and ex. tube. But the lens is pretty sharp I think. The sign picture is what I took at the pawn shop, lens was pretty dirty and a very overcast day.

I have some sweet sears glass. 28mm MC , 50mm MC , and 135mm MC with several versions. The nice thing is it all really works great ! Cheap as dirt and very underrated.
In fact today Im waiting for a mint 50mm f2.0 to arrive. It was a whopping $9 from ebay and I know what it can do.
NEVER underestimate the old glass.....a lot of it just shines.
