Anyone use their K50 for paid jobs?

Um, I'd be very surprised if someone, somewhere wasn't able to use a K-50 for paid work, since I have done paid shoots with a K-r and I will be doing more too. At 300DPI you get more than 14x9 inch prints from the K-r, which is bigger than most people ever want, so I'm sure a K-50 would be fine in the right hands.

I DO see your point though on this one. Bur remember in other countries style and professional looks are not always the same as they are here.

Actually, if you were doing kids' portraits, a wildly colored camera might draw some great responses.

Actually (Pt. II) -- I'm thinking seriously about stepping down from a K-5IIS to a K-50 for some high-volume paid work that doesn't require the build or speed of the pro model. Especially since I spotted a used K-50 for $250. It can be good business to use the cheapest tool that works.

Exactly, which is why I like mine. The kids hardly ever run from my K-30's the way they used to from my no nonsense black DSLR.
