"Click" in between "C" and "MF" mode on focus selector? K-50

I just noticed a weird thing with my new K-50 - it seems to have a "click" or "stop" in between the bottom MF and middle C mode. It will only click into that in between position on the way from MF to C, not from C to MF.

In the "middle mode" the camera does register it being set to AFS-C

Hardly worth taking back to the shop but just thought I'd ask the question to see if anyone has experienced this anomaly? If you haven't noticed, maybe check yours?

I think it's normal, caused by the AF lever being physically re-engaged and pushed into the lens.

That is the screw-drive mechanism in the lens-mount engaging the lens.
