K-50 Rear e-dial jam (Av mode)?

Hey,

Recently noticed following flaw in my K-50:

When I shoot in aperture priority mode (Av), with rear e-dial for aperture setting, I noticed that sometimes after photo taken. the aperture size value stucks in one position despite rear e-dial rotated to change other f value. To overcome this I have to push INFO or MENU button twice to reset and everything is fine then.

Is it just some firmware flaw or should I contact service because something is wrong with my camera?

I would suggest doing a reset and see if it doesn't clear the problem. Otherwise if it's in warranty I would probably send it in.

Do you mean reset - p. 219 in manual?

I notice the same thing in BOTH my K30's as well. I never thought anything was actually wrong other than just a small glitch in the wheel.
Have noticed it in other applications using the rear wheel also other than Av mode. Its almost like its temporarily dead during use. I just give it a second and try again....it always works.
Don't know whats wrong , but since it always catches up and works a second later just fine I don't worry at all about it. One K30 has 53K clicks and the other about 4K....I just keep shooting !
Don't know if this the same problem ? Like the wheel just doesn't notice its getting turned at all and sits there ? I need to check , but believe if I press the shutter part way and then rotate its cleared....will have to double check.
One thing for sure , it only does it for a few seconds and always clears quickly on its own without pressing menu or info. On mine its just a minor irritant from time to time and I end up wondering why it glitches again ? I believe turning the wheel fast may have something to do with it also , as when I turn it slowly/deliberately it seems to not happen at all.....just my observation from memory.
