Where can I send a k-30 in to be looked at?

I have a k-30 wanted ad in the wanted section and a guy responded with one that needs looked at by a technician. I am not quite sure what the problem is but he said that it wasn't working right with manual lenses.
QuoteQuote:
A person bought it from me a while ago, and emailed me saying he could not get it to work correctly with manual lenses, which, apparently, he likes to use. He returned it to me, but I could not make it misbehave (I don't use Pentax manual lenses). It seemed OK to me, but I have found out that it may give some trouble getting images between its card and the computer's picture program.
So does anyone have any suggestions where I can send or take it (in PA) to be looked at?

Sounds like user error to me, but if the camera does need servicing then Precision Camera is the only authorized facility in the US, and the only facility able to carry out the repairs.

My money is on this person not knowing there is a menu item that needs to be switched when using manual lenses or even automatic lenses in the non 'A' position (manual aperture mode) - 'Using Aperture Ring'. It must be set to allow lenses that are not set to the 'A' position to be used.

I have a *istDL, K-x, and K-01. They all have it, but where it appears in the menus varies with the camera.

See my entry in your wanted ad. I believe this too that the problem exists with the user, not the camera.
