18-55 lens with wide angle attachment

I have a Pentax K 30 and it came with the 18-55 lens , and I tried an after market cheap lens I had on my old Kodak non slr, just a fancy point and shoot. . Any way The lens came with adapters and stuff and after screwing on a " SSE 52mm UV" filter for an adapter I then screwed in a lens with " Macro" written on it then I added one that says " Digital Visions HD 52mm 0 45X Japan Optics" Now my zoom lens has a wider more panorama type view with no distortion.. It's not a whole lot wider , but it maybe ten percent which is ok since It was a fluke they all work . The same set up wont work on my 50- 200 lens for some reason.
I asked the folks at the Camera store if there was anything I could add that would give me an even wider view , but they said they had never heard of such a thing.
I'd like to be able to zoom in , and have a wider than normal view, is there such a lens for my Pentax K-30
I don't mean

Be careful with these adapters.

They were designed for fixed focus type lens generally.

A better approach would be to take a panorama series and stitch them up in post processing. That way you won't degrade the captured image.

The additional weight can also place pressure on the auto-focus mechanism of the 18-55mm lens as well.

The best solution would be to get a wider lens. Manual focuses lenses like the Rokinon/Samyang 14mm won't cost you that much but they deliver in terms of image quality.
