K50 firmware update

I just picked up a new K50 and checked the firmware. It is Ver 1.00 and I see Pentax has released a Ver 1.02. Not being a fan of fixing what isn't broke has anyone done the update?

Generally speaking, there's no reason not to update your firmware. In the K-50's case, the update adds/improves compatibility with lenses and accessories launched since 2013, such as the 1.4x teleconverter, the new weather sealed flashes, and HD limiteds.

I updated mine with no problems at all quite some time ago. You shouldn't have any problems.

I too need to update my K50, I see there have been 2 or 3 since Ver. 1.0 which I have. Do I need to do each one? Or just the latest one and it will take care of the rest? (I think I need to do this because I just got a O-GPS1 unit I want to use)

You have to apply only the newest one (which is v1.10 now) as it already contains/modifies all previously released patches.
