Do I have a problem?

I can hear a noise inside my K-50 body when no lens is attached, as if something is loose or wonky. If I hold it as though I were composing a shot then rotate it around the lens axis 90 degrees or so counterclockwise, I can hear a light thunk. I don't generally have problems with the camera's performance, though I do find it hard to get really sharp shots even across multiple lenses; I just assumed I was at fault there.

It should still under warranty and hasn't seen a lot of use in its life. Never been banged up, and its possible it was like that all along and never noticed.

The sound you are hearing, is most likely the anti-shake mechanisme. Don't worry about it!

Good to know. I figured it might be related to the screwdrive and wasn't super concerned, but though I should suss it out before the end of warranty got near.

Buy more lenses. Then you won't ever have this problem.

If ISIS had DSLRs and good lenses they wouldn't be blowing up Palmyra.
