dowloading K30 firmware 1.06 for european users

The up-to-date version of K30 firmware is 1.06. It includes support for recent lenses, like the HD-DA limiteds primes.

Yet, when accessing the Ricoh-imaging website from France (and I guess from other European countries), the only available upgrade is 1.05.
The 1.06 is available after switching from "europe" website to "global" website (button up right in the browser).

I got this info in june from Pentax phone support in June, installed it and it works fine.
The 1.06 version can be installed in most languages.

As the link in Ricoh "europe" website has still not been updated , I post this info to help other K30 users

When I navigate to the 'Global' site it doesn't offer me any download options. Link please?

Yes, the firmware updates are the same for all regions.

Thanks. The OP confused me a little, but seems sure that not all sites offer the same firmware versions.
