How long do I get between multiple exposures?

Hi all,
I'd like to play with some double exposures this weekend and I was wondering how long I had between each shot (if there even is a limit). I'd like a few minutes in between and I'll adjust my camera's sleep function. I'm using a K-50. Thanks for any help!

I think you get as long as you want.

Just don't:
Turn off the camera
Change the shooting mode
Go into menus

All the above will leave multiple exposure mode.

Thanks. I think I can do that (or don't do that!).
