Pentax K50

Hello. Somehow and not sure how I have gotten my K50 to where my pictures are very much overexposed. My son raced today and no matter how I tried I could not get it out of this situation. The camera is working and is taking pictures, but they are all extremely dark. Not sure what I have done. Can somebody please help me
Thanks...
Penny

That would be under-exposed I think.

As a way to see what is going on try putting the camera on manual and shooting at a blank wall at various apertures. Does the exposure change when you change the aperture?

Have you checked your exposure compensation?

Could you attach some samples so we can see the metadata?

The exposure issue could be caused by bad settings, or by the mechanical issue jatrax mentioned.
