so I didn't expect to, but ended up with a k30..... Aussie evilbay

There I was minding my own business. Browsing for gear on eBay to see what prices are doing and..... A blue k30 for 150Aud? (USD 115?) Too good to pass up. So looks like I need a WR lens to match up to it. Haha.
No complaints

Not Australian - but I got a K30 in a similar ebay accident, never thought I would win it -

Anyways I stuck a 18-135 and has worked great so far. Nice quiet and fast focusing fun lens for a walk around. Also darned light too doesn't seem at all unwieldy and seems to complement the K30 body nicely. Don't seem to use it much though. (the K30 that is)

Good luck with whatever you decide on

Cheers

Hello from the states. I have 2 K30's and it's younger brother the K50. I love the size, IQ, button layout and the work flow of working with the 16MP files. I have a 18-55wr, 50-200wr and DA* 50-135. For the type of photography (weddings and portraits) I do the 50-135 never comes off my camera. It is not for wildlife since it focus hunts some. But when is comes to sharpness and color rendition it is very hard to beat.
Happy lens hunting!

Haha, I had a similar experience with a K50. Happened to stumble across one on Ebay for $365 BIN. For some reason Ebay sent me a 10% off voucher that day so including shipping and my discount I got a virtually new K50 for $341! The seller said it had 695 actuations in the ad but that wasn't strictly true - it only had 650. I'm as happy as a pig in muck.
