Wondering if I got a good deal

I just purchased this K-50 along with the two kit lenses. The DA L 18-55, DA L 50-200 and a DA 14 wide angle lens along with a Tamrac Pro 8 camera bag and a lot of other smaller camera cleaning stuff unopened. Battery charger and battery along with all cables included as well.

The Shutter count on the K-50 was 105 and the Pentax strap wasn't even undone from the rubber band. Total price $386. Honestly it looks like it was never used.

I've got a K-3. All I really wanted was the DA 14 lens. Wondering if I should sell the kit lenses and keep the K-50 just to have a spare camera.

Yup, that's a good deal! You pretty much got the second lens for free compared to new pricing

$386 for all of that? All the lenses, the camera, everything? There are people who'd give their eye teeth for that package at that price. Keep it in case your stuff breaks, or shoot the hell out of the K-50 and use it as a Takumar camera if the aperture drive fails.

If you don't feel the need for a spare body sell the k50 and kit lenses and keep the money.

if you don't have a spare body, I would keep the k50 and one of those wr lenses as they make great body caps.
the k50 seems to be a litlle less good as the k3, but can deliver.

That's not a good deal - that is a fantastic deal. I thought I did well when I picked up a K50 with 650 clicks on the speedo for $340. If I were the OP I'd keep the K50 because it was as good as free.

the da 50-200 isnt too bad either imo if you dont have a wr lens like it. the 55-300 is def nicer but i enjoyed using my 50-200 and kinda miss the lightness. id sell the k50 and 18-55 and you basically got the 2 lenses for really cheap.

Well, I think I might have a buyer for the camera and kit lenses. The wife found out about my good fortune and has now decided that she would like to take up photography. She's willing to spend time and learn, so I'm excited. I could use a second photog on some of my hobby shoots anyway.

Awesome! I had the K50 myself to before upgrading the to the K3 and honestly it is a great camera. There is very little to not like. The 50-200 is not bad either nor is the 18-55 truth be told.
