K30 lcd

My trusty K30 decided to jump out of my hands the other day and make about an 8 inch drop onto a table. The obvious damage is the LCD, it still displays fine but the plastic is spiderwebbed. Is there a cover over it, or is that the screen itself? Trying to decide if I am going to take it to a local camera shop and get it repaired or swap it out myself.

There is a plastic cover over the lcd itself, attached with a strong double sided tape to the cameras back.
But i think this cover would just crack and not spiderweb since its quite flexible?

USAcamera.com sells the window and tape for the K-50 which should fit the K-30 since it is the same for the K-5 and K-7.

Thank you all, I think it is just the plastic cover, I found the cover on uscamera as suggested, I think I will go that route first.
