Live View noise

friend of mine with Pentax K50 has a problem with Live View in the evening or night when focusing. There is significant noise on the display as shown in the video enclosed. There is a lamp on the street in the video.
Any suggestion what caused the problem and how to get rid of it?

You have focus peaking turned on - focus peaking is designed to assist with manual focusing, it will produce those white lines on the edges of what ever is in focus.
Just turn focus peaking off in the function menu and you should be all good!

The less light you have, the more the signal from the sensor is amplified, and any noise along with it (going to higher ISO values essentially raises amplification). This means that low light is prone to creating noisy pictures. The only partial solution is a fast lens (which captures more light), but that comes at the expense of depth-of-field. Another solution, not practical in many cases, is supplementary lighting.

As sensor technology has progressed, the amount of sensor noise has fallen, but there are limits on how low it can go. Things like heat produced by the sensor itself lead to some noise that can't be eliminated. Astronomers use cooled sensors to obtain the best noise performance in long exposures but cooled sensors aren't practical for regular photography (nor available).

When lighting gets very poor, you just have to accept a certain amount of noise.

As FozzFoster writes, turn focus peaking off.
