Weird sensor shake during / just after exposure

This started happening with a K-50, is it a common problem and is there a fix?

The sensor shakes strongly in a consistent pattern. I've tried firmware update, changing settings but still no fix.

Thanks

Have you checked the dust alert function to see if there's a big area of dust indicated?

does it do this using every way of triggering exposure? such as shutter button, 2 second delay, remote, etc.

You might also try turning dust removal off and see if that does anything.

Hi,

Yes, it happens with every way of triggering exposure that I have tried (haven't tried remote). I have also noticed it happens when flipping mirror up for sensor cleaning.

I've tried playing with dust removal settings and no luck.

On closer inspection of the problem one side of the sensor moves up and down in a repetitive pattern.
If anyone has ever heard of this problem please let me know.
Thanks

Hate to say it but it sounds like a repair is needed. Hopefully someone that knows more can help you avoid that.
