The forthcoming K-s

What would you like to see in a forthcoming K-s?

Deceived about this thread?
Expected to read brand new rumor about your next Pentax?

Well, not anymore in this forum.

Thank the creator of "The new K300D" thread and the mods not moving it (I asked them first...).

Have a nice day.

And of course, I expect my thread to be closed or moved

There should be a "Speculation" underforum, or all threads should be moved to lens/DSLR discussion.

What I want in a new Pentax K

That is easy.

A camera that will go head to head with the Canon 5D MKII and Nikon D700.

I have used Pentax cameras a long time, but I need better images for my studio. I'm on the verge of committing to another brand because of: speed of focus, full size sensors, lower noise at high ISOs. I would also like to see Pentax change the head lock design on their 540 flashes. It is very annoying how they flop around like a wet noodle when I'm shooting weddings. Canon an Nikon can build flashes that are tight and rugged. Why can't Pentax?

I'm also eager to see Pentax's new medium format camera.

Bottom line I want pro quality cameras from Pentax.

At least you gave the thread a decent model name. Every time I read "K300", my brain switches to "nonsense mode"

I agree with Kjetil that a subforum for pure wishes/speculation should be introduced.

Entry level full frame.

$799 for a full frame body only with feature set otherwise like k-x.

Not really, in this case, I figure if you throw out enough names you're bound to hit the next camera name eventually and then you can claim you figured it out early.

I'm going to start a dozen or so threads... The K-K the K-Q, perhaps the Walter PPK (oops already taken) and the K-V-9000

Your wish is my command. For the record, the OP of the K300 post placed it in the Gatherings... forum and I moved it to News and Rumors. Frankly lots of the threads in News and Rumors are guesses and wishlists and "I'd like this" or "I hate that" threads so the K300 thread fits here just fine.
