That seems ages ago during the film heydays.

had thought last night to buy a white k-x from amazon for $499.98, had in cart with 2 4GB SD class cards to be $530 with 6% tax AND free shipping...., did research, thought over... decided to buy and tried checkout this morning, price changed to $532, +$32, with tax, came to be $40 more... checked out beachcamera.com, a white k-x was also $499.98, also changed to have $4.98 to ship 3-5 days by fedex, NO TAX, $505 WITH shipping charge, and shipped out today of order, should have this weekend to learn... got a couple of weddings to shoot this summer. 1 said yes to have me shoot this august, will do as gift as local weddings start at $2300 just for a basic package.. I do the work on computer, edit to make look good, lightscribe the DVD with samples. K-X does copyright PER picture when taken, will just add text file to allow them to have professional printed.. so yes, could charge them and say wedding gift.. spoke about it at work, a few co-workers asking if I do shoots, cannot hurt. so, all in all, amazon only lost the order due to price increase overnight, and due to the fact, THEY DO carry the same camera and have 1-3 week waiting time for certain colors, but not the NEW colors. I had brought from beachcamera.com before, when I got the K100D for $476 3 years ago, going to use it as a backup camera. now I have a better camera than another family member, and may make a few photo shoots to boot to make a bit back. can but sandisk extreme III cards from local staples when on sale as I have a few 4GB cards to keep in cameras.
